what a difference a week makes... at th nvite request from Coach Thomas & th GA Reds, th new look Twins went to Dekalb Co n took on th Redan Phillies & Redan Middle school. all week long i emphisized th difference btwn 0to0 & 9to0, which was the outcome of our bad inning last weekend. (think i'll get that put on a tshirt) ...now we still have a few more coats o paint to put our 2012 model but if see what i see... this thing has a chance2b special. still tweak'g positions, batting lineups, pitch'g & catch'g rotation... we'll put her on road again this weekend in a lil USSSA type action...

1st time around th block..

...back'd it outta th garage. head'd round th block...
new look Twins look'd ok4 exactly 1½ innings... but i cant fix it until i kno what "IT" is... 1 game in & i've seen a lil bit of "it"... we're not bad at all. couple situational things2work on. we were just a blown double play & a rundown away from get'g outta th 2nd inning 0to0... 9runs later, sigh... but it was only day1. it didnt cost us anything but time. we all learned & grew a little... and... it gives us stuff2 humbly work on    ...we right where we need2b...

practicing week2

not a bad 1st week. weekend & week2 start'g out slow & cold. was able2 get a few pitchers to the mound on MON. mayb we'll try again on FRI... either way... we ball'g this weekend in Austell...

Stockbridge pract field

after school pract TUES, WED, THUR get'g us right where we need2b quick fast & in a hurry... i pick'd Stockbridge bcuz:

• 1. several of our players are hail'g from Stockbridge/Rex side of town.
• 2. i'm off early afternoons and can get over there faster than player parents try'g2 get off at 5p & get2 jonesboro.
• 3. with only an hr+ of daylight & 2wks to prepare, want'd2 maximize our efforts.

we've now seen 8 of th new look Twins... all 8 fundamental... this is gonna b fun.
